The breakfast was excellent and had good choice of meals. I truly enjoyed the historic-style building, nicely furnished room with a beautiful view.

Wi-Fi signal was very weak tbh and there was cheap bed in my room.

The location was magnificent and amazing because it was next to the lakefront and the business offices and downtown and restrauants as well as university campus.

Awesome food, exemplary service and great view of the lake. Spotless room with extremely comfy bed and down pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows. Luxurious bathroom and a bathtub with good sewerage. Accommodating staff, wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The most important - marvellous and incredible location to pretty much everything you need. Really comfortable overall experience.

Magnificent location, 10 minutes' walk to an art museum. Great business trip in this downtown area. King room with a bath.

The staff was willing to help and kept it all reasonably clean. Incredible central location really close to lakeside, easy walk into main city streets and a local restaurant.

The location was unbeatable and convenient, for example, University of Wisconsin was relatively close to the hotel. Moreover, it's so close to a real getaway and the waterfront and downtown. The room was a nice size, had essentials, like a hairdryer, shower caps and bath sheets.

Great location and beautiful views. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Lots of people watching to do. The view from my room was absolutely spectacular. I couldn't get enough of it.

Poor communication and disappointing room service. The tub wouldn't hold water and had to call maintenance to fix it.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel located on the delightful shores of Lake Mendota. The view from our room was breathtaking, with a clear sight of the Capitol. The location was perfect, as we were able to easily explore all the great Madison restaurants nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bathroom was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The service was friendly and accommodating, with helpful front desk agents and valet staff. The breakfast at the State House restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed taking walks on the esplanade.

The directions to accessing the front door of the hotel could be improved.

All in all, it was chilled-out base for traveling to Madison. The staff was willing to help and provided local information. The room was well decorated and updated & clean. The view was picturesque. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk away from University of Wisconsin. There was a fantastic restaurant, a market and stores next door. Enjoyed this really good stay for the wedding.
